Job Description:
An essential part of the search process is a comprehensive and detailed job description. Barrett Addison conducts structured interviews with decision makers and hiring managers to develop a complete picture of the opportunity. Everything from the required skill sets, day to day responsibilities, to what the individual needs to accomplish within their first year of employment to be successful.
Identification:
Our team will locate the most qualified candidates for the position from our network to include our personal relationships with industry professionals, our extensive ongoing list of passive candidates not “actively” on the market and our database. Personal referrals make up 70% of our candidate lists.
Evaluation:
We qualify candidates based on several criteria ranging from your basic requirements, cultural fit, preferred skill sets, the candidates record of accomplishments etc. A final candidate pool which includes the top 10% of qualified candidates is the result of our evaluation process.
Presentation:
Selected candidates from the final candidate pool will be presented for consideration to our client. A detailed “snap shot” and resume of each candidate will be presented to the client. Only the most qualified candidates from the candidate pool will be presented.
Reference Checking:
Careful attention is given to conducting detailed reference checks with past supervisors and direct reports to ensure that all the candidates are thoroughly vetted.
Negotiation:
At this point in the process we will have confirmed on multiple occasions that the candidate will accept an offer within your compensation range so there are no surprises. We will ensure a smooth process and serve as a helpful intermediary as needed in this sensitive and detailed process.
Follow Up:
Barrett Addison maintains consistent contact with placed candidates and their employers to ensure that the candidate gets hired and stays hired.
